Is Russia dangerous for tourists?
I am a university student (female) and I plan to do a university exchange to Moscow for 5 weeks this summer. My school, however, has warned its students that this could potentially be a dangerous trip (though they didn't give any warning about, say, Mexico). Can anyone shed any light on this issue? Why would Russia be considered especially 'dangerous' for visitors?
